Residents of Lake in the Hills can take their paddleboards to Woods Creek Lake with a lake use tag or a daily fee and a Boat Tag. Lake Use and Boat Use tags can be purchased at the Village Hall.
For those who do not have their own paddleboard, Stand Up Paddleboarding will be offered through the Lake in the Hills Parks & Recreation Department. For $87 for residents and $97 for non-residents you will get 3 sessions of 1 1/2 hours on alternate Saturdays. Dry land training will be given prior to going out on the water. A paddleboard, paddle, life jacket and board leash will be provided by Alpine Accessories. Bring sun lotion, water shoes, towel and appropriate clothing for the weather.
